A Fruity Fruit Baby Hat - Citrus Edition
Updated: Jan 24, 2021

This is another pattern I made a while ago.
Baby items are something that I usually don't make, but a family friend was having a baby, so, I decided to make a few things for the new arrival.
Many years before, I had made a strawberry hat (from a book I cannot remember the name of) for a friends who was having a baby. The memory of this lead me to work on this theme.
Thinking ensued, and I realised I need to think of a colour to lead me to a fruit and then work out how the leaves should be. I ended up with an orange, who wouldn't like a baby orange.
I also decided that a baby berry would be cute and made that too. This pattern is just for the citrus hat (you can change the colour to make a different citrus fruit).
The hat is worked in single crochet. This makes it firm and will keep little heads warm.
