Holey Wrist Warmers to Also Keep You Cosy

Updated: Jan 24, 2021

Apparently I can't get enough of wrist warmers either.  These holey wrist warmers are an adaptation of the lacy wrist warmers. It gives a different look.

Again they are quick to make, and if you ask me look great as well.

You can use other yarn as well to make these. The size will vary depending on the yarn that you use, but it can give some awesome results. Thinner yarn makes the lace pattern stand out more and a thicket yarn gives a great chunky texture.  Either way it gives a cool  look to any outfit.

What You Will Need:

1 or 2 balls of yarn in a colour of your choice
double knit (8ply) weight yarn will give a chunkier look (as shown above)

sport or lace weight yarn will give a finer look (as shown below)

Tapestry needle (to weave in ends)

To join sl st or sew through bottom of foundation chain and back loop of finishing row.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Make 2.

When making the second glove, fold the glove the opposite direction of how you folded it for the first glove. This is to make each wrist warmer for each hand (left and right) and to ensure the pattern is on the top of each hand.
